قال المركز الفلسطيني لحقوق الإنسان إن قوات الأمن التابعة للسلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية بالضفة الغربية اعتقلت ستة أكاديميين يعملون بجامعة النجاح الوطنية، وعضو مجلس بلدي، ومهندسينِ وطالباً جامعياً، واستدعت تسع نساء لاستجوابهن واحتجزت بطاقاتهن الشخصية.
