يبدأ منتصف الشهر الجاري بمكة المكرمة التشغيل التجريبي لأكبر ساعة بالعالم تبدأ العمل بعد ثلاثة أشهر. ويتعلق الأمر بساعة برجية قطر واجهتها يفوق 40 مترا، وترتفع 400 متر عن الأرض ويمكن رؤيتها من كل أحياء مكة على بعد ثمانية كيلومترات.
