طالب رئيس إدارة منطقة أبيي الغنية بالنفط والمتنازع عليها بين شمالي السودان وجنوبيه، آروب دينق آروب، بإجراء الاستفتاء الخاص بالمنطقة في موعده المحدد، محذرا من أن الفشل في ذلك قد يخلق نزاعا إقليميا بشأن المنطقة، وطالب آروب الحكومة بحماية لجنة ترسيم الحدود.
