أطلقت مجموعة تضم العشرات من تتار كازان المسلمين في إقليم الدونباس شرق أوكرانيا حملة لإعادة تسمية مواليد الأبناء وأبناء الأبناء باسم "محمد"، لينتشر هذا الاسم من جديد بين مسلمي الإقليم البالغ عددهم قرابة 100 ألف نسمة.
