سلمت القوات الأميركية السلطات العراقية إدارة وسجناء معتقل كروبر الواقع قرب مطار بغداد. ويعد المعتقل أهم وآخر المعتقلات الأميركية التي تغلق أو تسلم إدارتها للحكومة العراقية. يأتي ذلك بعد تسليم القوات الأميركية سلطات بغداد عددا من قادة النظام السابق بينهم طارق عزيز.
