دعا المرشح المحتمل لانتخابات الرئاسة المقبلة في مصر محمد البرادعي جماعة الإخوان المسلمين للانضمام إلى "الجمعية الوطنية من أجل التغيير" التي يرأسها، مشيرا إلى أنه يتفق مع الجماعة في الدعوة لإلغاء حالة الطوارئ وإنهاء القوانين المقيدة للحريات.
