أعلنت الجبهة المتحدة لتحرير الصومال الغربي عقد أول مؤتمر لها منذ 1995 بمحافظة جودي الواقعة بهذا الإقليم. ويأتي المؤتمر بعد هدنة وقعها التنظيم مع إثيوبيا يرفضها تنظيم آخر يقاتل من أجل الاستقلال هو الجبهة الوطنية لتحرير أوغادين.
