أظهرت دراسة بريطانية أن حوالي ربع الأطفال الذين يولدون عند أقل من 26 أسبوعا من الحمل، والمعروفين باسم الأطفال الخدج للغاية يصابون باضطرابات نفسية لدى بلوغهم سن 11 عاما.
