وصف وزير خارجية مصر أحمد أبو الغيط ما تردد من تقارير بشأن قيام سوريا بتزويد حزب الله اللبناني بصواريخ سكود بأنها "أكاذيب تدعو إلى الضحك"، وشدد على أنه إذا شنت إسرائيل عدوانا على لبنان وسوريا فستدعم مصر البلدين والشعبين.
