توصلت دراسة طبية إلى أن توقف التنفس أثناء النوم يزيد مخاطر الإصابة بالسكتة الدماغية لدى الرجال بمنتصف العمر والمسنين، وفقا لبيان تلقته الجزيرة نت من معاهد الصحة القومية الأميركية.
