تواجه الصيرفة الإسلامية بالسعودية انتقادات حادة لأنها لم تنجح حسب قول منتقديها في تطبيق معاييرها على خارطة البنوك المحلية، وبأنها تمارس أدوار البنوك التقليدية. إلا أن القائمين عليها يرفضون ذلك.
