دعا نقاد ومشتغلون في صناعة السينما مشاركون في مهرجان مسقط السينمائي السادس، إلى ضرورة النهوض بالسينما الخليجية ودعمها حكومياً لتخرج من إطار الاجتهادات الفردية للمبدعين الخليجيين. وأشار هؤلاء إلى عدد من التحديات التي تقف عقبة أمام تطور السينما الخليجية.
