افتتح الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني نائب أمير قطر ولي العهد حفل بدء تداول "مصحف قطر" بمتحف الفن الإسلامي بالعاصمة الدوحة. وقد تم تكريم الخطاط السوري عبيدة صالح البنكي الذي خط المصحف بوسام الاستحقاق.
