ارتفع الدين المحلي والأجنبي للأردن بنسبة 12.9% في 2009 إلى 9.66 مليارات دينار (13.6 مليار دولار) مقارنة بالعام السابق.وأوضحت أحدث إحصاءات أولية أن إجمالي صافي الدين المحلي بلغ 5.792 مليارات دينار نهاية العام الماضي مقارنة مع 4.991 مليارات دينار في العام 2008.
