قال خبير في علم الزلازل إن الزلزال الذي ضرب تشيلي بقوة 8,8 درجات بمقياس ريختر فجر السبت يُعد أقوى 500 مرة من ذلك الذي دمّر جزيرة هايتي الشهر الماضي, مشيرا إلى أن التاريخ أثبت أن أقوى الزلازل ليس دوما أشدها فتكا.
