أعلنت القوات الأفغانية وقوات حلف شمال الأطلسي (الناتو) في أفغانستان انتزاعها السيطرة على بلدة مرجة بولاية هلمند من أيدي حركة طالبان وتنصيب والٍ جديد لمديريتها. جاء ذلك بعد 12 يوما منذ بدء العمليات العسكرية ضد طالبان في هذه الولاية.
