أنهى مؤتمر الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية أعماله في روما وسط جدل بشأن مستقبل الأمن الغذائي العالمي. وحذر خبراء دوليون من أن تشكل الأزمات الاقتصادية والمالية العالمية عامل تقويض للأمن الغذائي العالمي. كما أشاروا إلى أن من الممكن أن تتسبب التغيرات المناخية في عدم الوفاء بأهداف الألفية الإنمائية بتقليص حجم الفقر إلى النصف عام 2015. المزيد في تقرير موفد الجزيرة إلى روما عبد القادر عراضة.
