هناك من يقول إن الفضل في استمرار المتظاهرين حتى حينه يعود إلى الدعم الذي قدمته لهم بريطانيا ووكالة المخابرات المركزية ومن الحماقة الاعتقاد أنها مجرد مظاهرات عفوية.
